The Bear Mountain Southern Pacific (B.M.S.P) railroad is a fictitious railroad modeling the upper west coast of North America in the years 1945 to 1975. It runs point to point from Lentown to Curtisville with twenty towns on the route.
George has been working on the layout for 31 years. The layout is 2400 square feet with over 600 feet of mainline and 350 feet of branch line. It features floor to ceiling scenery, many Fine Scale Miniature structures, several scratch built trestle's and bridges.
Monthly operating sessions are held the last Friday of the month from September to April. Operation is via car cards and a dispatcher. Trains are controlled via radio control throttles. Teams are made up of an engineer and conductor with a typical session requiring 14 people. Visitors are welcome to come and join us.
