This outdoor garden railroad is 1/29th scale and features modern sound equipped engines and rolling stock by Aristo-Craft, USA trains, LGB, Bachmann and others. Radio controlled engines with Phoenix sound struggle up and down the 2.8% grades. There is approximately 2,500' of mainline track, which is Aristo-craft stainless steel, a large yard occupies one side of the layout. The layout so far has taken 100 cubic yards of fill, and 50 tons of rock. When this layout does scenery, it comes in by the truckload!
