The Bear Mountain Santa Fe Railroad is a DCC controlled two level layout featuring a four track helix. The railroad has a two track main line operating on a right hand rule. The tracks run from Williamsburg in the west to Georgetown in the east. Operation is by photo car cards and waybills, a dispatcher and eventually signals. Work on the layout is continuing. Operators/helpers come over Friday evenings and Sunday mornings to work on the layout during the winter months.
