The Bear Mountain Santa Fe Railroad is a DCC controlled two level layout featuring a four track helix. The railroad has a two track main line operating on the right hand rule. The tracks run from Williamsburg in the west to Georgetown in the east. Operation is by photo car cards and waybills, a dispatcher and eventually signals. The layout is 4 years old and work is continuing. Operators/helpers come over Friday evenings and Sunday mornings to work on the layout.
